Letter from Benjamin Smith Lyman to J. Peter Lesley
Description:
Lyman recommends Mr. Langel to the Philosphical Society. He describes his recent boring and plotting work around Cow Bay in relation to a case in one of Mr. Lesley's published manuals. Lyman explains the decimal scale he has been using in his survey work, and mentions the discovery of resources that increase the value of Bourinot's claim, and negotiations underway for a number of the Glace Bay mines.
