Newsletter for women in prisons, jails and psychiatric institutions. Published with the intention of providing a forum through which incarcerated woman can speak and coalition build, outside prison groups can find each other and unite, and others can familiarize themselves with the struggles of women behind bars and learn how to organize around and support them. Articles on incarcerated members of the Palestinian Women's Movement, capital punishment in the South and activism supporting decriminalization and the civil rights of sex workers in Canada and San Francisco. Also including information on specific cases and prison conditions, financial exploitation of persons diagnosed with psychiatric illness and the relationship of the military-industrial complex to prisons.
