Citywide Coordinating Council daily monitoring report for South Boston High School by Edward M. Podolak and Sandra Sherwood, 1975 October 1
Description:
Citywide Coordinating Council daily monitoring report for South Boston High School by Edward M. Podolak and Sandra Sherwood. Podolak describes a fight between white males students and a black male student in the lunch room, as well as the arrest of a black student in the detention room for the destruction of property. He and another black student were circulating a petition earlier in the day. Podolak also mentions an incident that occurred when a black student was going through the school's metal detectors. Sherwood suggests that suspended students should not be allowed on the school buses, and that more rigorous screenings should be conducted.
