This record includes: a memorandum from Jean Sullivan McKeigue, President of the Boston School Committee, to members of the Consent Decree Task Force, enclosed with meeting minutes; an attendance list of the Consent Decree Advisory Group; a memorandum and draft orders toward closing case, written by Judge W. Arthur Garrity; a memorandum from the Black Parent Committee to McKeigue stating that they will not participate in the Consent Decree Advisory Group; a letter of reply from McKeigue to the Black Parent Committee urging them to participate; a memorandum from Robert I. Sperber, Special Assistant to the President of Boston University, to McKeigue, with his reactions and comments regarding the Consent Decree Advisory Group; a list of questions from the Citywide Parents' Advisory Council directed to the Consent Decree Advisory Group; a letter from Charles L. Glenn, Director of Equal Educational Opportunity, to McKeigue, enclosed with a statement of principles for assessing student assignment plans; and a letter of reply from Judge Garrity to McKeigue.
