Description:
Addressed to the "Honorable members of the Legislature of the State of Georgia" advocating the passage of the Hardwick Bill which would "the right of suffrage to all who, irrespective of race or color, are intelligent enough to vote properly", but objecting to certain clauses which discriminate against black citizens. Signed by 24 individuals including Henry Hugh Proctor, W. E. B. Du Bois, John Hope and others.
