U.S. (United States) or American flag. Hand stitched construction. Thirteen red and white stripes with each stripe sewn together. Blue rectangular panel of fabric taking up the upper left quadrant of the flag. Thirteen white stars sewn onto blue fabric rectangle in upper left quadrant. Thirteen stars are sewn on in irregular pattern. Leftmost column has four stars evenly spaced. There is roughly a second column with 4 stars, a third column with one star, and a fourth column with four stars. Two rightmost 4-star columns "swerve" around single star column. Right end of stripes are rolled over on right-hand side and stitched down, possibly to reinforce and keep from fraying. Left-hand side has 5 eyelet holes for hanging.
