Handmade folder used to hold family documents. The folder is one of a group of twenty-one created by Olive Percival of Los Angeles, California. This folder's label, handwritten by Percival, indicates it held "Miscellaneous Papers of Lydia Percival of Lenox, Massachusetts (1773-1830)." The folder is made of decorative paper with a folk art style pattern of birds trees and flowers. The paper is stamped "Made in Italy." The interior of the folder is backed by a piece of cardboard wrapped in a second decorative paper with a pattern of yellow and orange leaves with metallic silver veins on a green and blue checkered background.
