The unidentified correspondent writes that she has been very busy, but she will try to begin where she left off. She spent the day at camp meeting which was very dusty and warm with 300 hundred tents and many people. She went to church in Middle Spring with Lizzie McGinley, but she did not like the preacher at all. They went back to camp meeting, but on Sunday Annie wouldn't go because she is a strict Presbyterian. The author writes about various family, friends and acquaintances including Samp King and Marion Weakley. There have been many social engagements with local people as well those from Baltimore and Philadelphia, and even a Catholic family. She is very busy visiting people, being called on by people, and travelling. The author writes of Mrs. McKee who hung herself years before. She met her daughter who was the person to find the body. The daughter was in such shock after finding her dead mother's body that she went insane and she was kept in an asylum for some time.
