3-Piece Dress
Description:
Green ribbed silk dress, bodice and two skirts. Bodice has round neck; piping at neck and armseye; 11 crochet covered buttons at center front placket; peplum pointed center back; trimmed with 3 band of self piping and edged all around with green fringe; long sleeves with piping and fringe applied in L-shape with flat bow at top; bodice lined with brown cotton twill; sleeves lined with glazed green linen. Overskirt has self waistband faced with glazed linen and 3 wool tape loops; 2 box pleats at front; cartridge pleating at back; hem trimmed like peplum. Underskirt has self waistband faced with green linen and tape loops; box pleats in front, cartridge pleating in back; back pleats faced with glazed brown linen; glazed brown linen pocket at right; hem bound with green wool tape and faced with glazed green linen. No fastening on waistband of either skirt.
