The Sixth Catalogue of the School For Christian Workers for 1890-1891 with prospectus for 1891-1892. This is the first catalog put out by the School for Christian Workers after the YMCA Training School split to form their own school. The YMCA Training School would eventually become Springfield College. The School for Christian Workers continues to use the original school's name until they change the name to the Bible Normal School around the 1895-96. Both the YMCA Training School and the School for Christian Workers continue to use the same building to host their classes until 1895 when the YMCA Training School moved to their present location on Alden Street in Springfield Massachusetts. Many faculty and staff as well as resources were also shared by the two schools during this time. The School for Christian Workers Catalogs are included here because of this shared residence and resources. It is hoped that this will paint a clearer picture of the two institutions. Much of the same information that is held in the Springfield College (then the YMCA Training School) catalogs are held here, including course information, faculty and trustee listings, admissions and general school information, and student rosters and graduation information.
