Small oval brooch with painted portrait miniature of William Jackson. Likely gauche on ivory. Depicts a young man in a blue coat, and ruffled collar, yellow striped waistcoat. Pale skin with brown hair cropped close except for bangs. Signed and dated "Doyle 1806"
