Chamberlin discusses a phone conversation with Beth Backman and how Hawthorn wants a book about patient-controlled alternatives to mental hospitals, which is different from the book she had originally proposed. Chamberlin will outline a proposal to submit and that the present proposal could be submitted to another publisher.
