Oval horizontal brooch, glossy enamel finely painted with a view of Lake Lucerne after the 1844 painting by Thomas Miles Richardson Lake Lucerne With William Tell’s Chapel. Fleur-de-lis-type designs in gold at either side, perimeter is alternating twists of gold tube, plain and with abstract relief design.
