Small, rectangular brown wicker basket with sides that flare out at the top. Base is smaller than top. Two part lid attached by white strip of fabric on each side. One lid has six loops of fabric while the other only has one. Lids do not fit evenly together, but one rests slightly on top of the other. The weavers on the lid are vertical so that it looks like accordian-like. Basket has two pieces of thin white rope as handles. The weavers are small and tight on the body of the basket. There are reinforced sections about an inch above the base and an inch below the top, all the way around the basket. Donor information states that this object belonged to the Woodward family, who used the item for lunches during Sunday service (along with the bone handled knife and fork, 1979.2337A-B).
