Portrait of Dr. Bronislaw Honigberg was was a parasitologist who, through studying the intestinal parasites of amphibians, provided research for the U.S. Department of Public Health’s infectious diseases lab. He joined the University faculty in 1961 and taught in the zoology department until his death in 1992.
