Description:
Letter written by Joel Halpern to his parents during his trip to Europe in 1949. This letter describes some of his time in London, England, Calais, France and the countryside of northwest France. He describes the Horse Guards, Buckingham Palace, Trafalger Square, Whitehall and Number 10 Downing Street. Halpern also describes Folkestone, England and Calais, France and that both were still damaged by World War II.
