Letter from Benjamin Smith Lyman to Edward Gilbertson
Description:
Lyman expresses concern that he has not received any correspondence from Gilbertson in a long time and hopes that he is in good health. He read in the newspaper that Gilbertson's paper "Japanese Swords" had been published by the Japan Society and he hopes to find it in the library. Lyman finished the printer's copy of extracts from Gilbertson's previous letters that were used in discussion of Captain Zalinski's paper at a combined meeting of the Numismatic and Antiquarian Society and the Mining and Metallurgical Section of the Franklin Institute.
