Letter from Benjamin Smith Lyman to Chauncey H. Pierce
Description:
Lyman is pleased that Pierce is continuing efforts to obtain payments from Mrs. Lindquist and that he is pursuing other leads in addition to the college. He is surprised to hear that Dr. Seelye believes he can get the property without payment, leaving Lyman to wonder if they could count on Seelye to take up the mortgage if foreclosure becomes unavoidable.
