From a series of oral histories with residents and employees of the Loomis Village Retirement Community, South Hadley, Mass., regarding their lives and experience in a retirement community. Barbara Curtis (born 1923) was raised near the old Old People's Home in Holyoke and formerly on the Board of Directors of the Loomis House, and long-time employee at fmily business, Curtis Business Forms, and came to Loomis Village in 1996.
