On the front rim of the crock, written in blue, is "SNYDER BLACKBERRY". On the back, below the rim, written in blue, is JOHN A. KENRICK" with the drawing of an urn in the same color. The sides have two ear-like handles made of ceramic. On right side at the bottom is the artist's (sculptor's) signature, "Allison Newsome 2017". The bottom is unglazed. The lid has a small raised dimple on the top rim.
