This volume is a commentary on the Pentateuch (the first five books of the Hebrew Bible). Only 6 books are known to have been printed by Conat, who introduced Hebrew printing in Mantua in 1474. Conat's wife Estellina was the first woman to become involved in Hebrew printing with the production of Jedaiah ben Abraham Bedersi's Behinat 'Olam (Investigation of the World). Excerpt from Levi ben Gershom's Perush 'al ha-Torah
