Letter from Joel and Barbara Halpern to his parents describing their time in Laos. This letter focuses on answering a few questions from his parents and then describing a number of guests who visited the Halperns in Luangprabang where they were based during this time. The letter describes a number of different visitors including American survey teams, guests from the sailing ship Yankee and numerous other people. This letter was written just before the wedding of the Princess of Laos and many of the guests are related to that event.
