Letter from Amy Jacques Garvey to W. E. B. Du Bois
Description:
Describing recent progress made toward the proposed Post-war Pan-African Congress; urging him to avoid use of the word "Negro" in his future memorandums; insisting he "try not to be bored with the length of my letters"; offering a host of suggested changes to his recently enclosed proposal (mums312-b103-i031); bidding he refer to her as "A. Kacques Garvey, and omit the Christian name of Amy"; and asking that he read the letter twice over, "so that you can catch the unexpressed references" therein.
