Overview of NORML's national legal program including: challenging New York state's prohibition of individuals to grow marijuana in the home; the appeal, arguing cruel and unusual punishment, of the 40 year sentence of Roger Davis, an African American man in Virginia charged with possession of a small quantity of marijuana; NORML's current attempts to get the United States government to reschedule marijuana as a schedule 1 drug.
