Wooden chest from Eliot Debating Club. Letters "I.O.O.T.S" carved into the front, near the built in lock. "E.D.C" carved into the top of the chest, stands for "Eliot Debating Club." Small brass handles on the sides of the chest. Two cracks on the top of the chest as well as some surface scratches. Visible dovetail joint work at the corners. Crack on the bottom of the chest spanning the length of the chest. No maker's mark.
