Hair collected/made by Mrs. Mary J. Adams, donor's mother An elaborate "U" shaped wreath of flowers made of wire, hair and beads. Wire forms of large flowers, fern-like fronds and leaves. Stamen ends of blue, red, black, crystal and gold colored beads. Hair colors of light blonde, and browns. Mahogany frame, gold lined. Typed Inscription on back: Wreath made by Mrs. Mary J.Adam of Arlington, Mass. in 1868 of family hair. Presented to The Arlington Historical Society by her daughter Mrs. Julius F. Gage 14 Madison Ave. Newtownville, Mass. 1933."
