Photogrpah is mounted with a label that explains: "ARVN [Army of the Republic of Vietnam] regular soldier cautiously approaches tunnel for more prey like the Vee Cee (Viet Communists) to his left he has just killed. Like moles in the ground, the Vee Cee built complex tunnels sometimes under the compounds of the covernment troops."
