Two boys sit cross-legged on a stone platform next to a statue of the Buddha, one looking at the camera while the other appears to be meditating. Photograph is mounted with a label dscribing the scene: "In pursuit of nirvana. Young Indonesian boy, in lotus position, ponders his future atop an open stupa at Borobudur, Java, Indonesia. Indonesia, now Muslim, is the home of the largest Buddhist complete in the world even though there are virtualaly no Buddhists in the island country. Little is known about the twelve-hundred-year-old structures."
