The doctor died from a head injury after the North Vietnamese Army (NVA) hit their convoy. 20 Americans died, 30 were injured, and 4 trucks were lost 3-6 miles outside Huế. 34 members of the NVA died. Ronald talks about his love for Carolyn and says he is fighting for her.
