Fanny chastises Toku for a comment about Benjamin Smith Lyman, notes that she had no allowance or new clothes when she was Toku's age, and reminds him of what he owes Lyman. Fanny mentions the start of a "young peoples service" at her church, then briefly describes a number of social visits. A typewritten transcript of the letter is included.
