Black-and-white photographic print, 6" x 8", mounted on cardboard, showing an automobile and eleven men posed with an automobile outside a wooden clapboard building with a sign reading "James Cramp Machinist." A pencil note on the back of the photo reads "791 Washington Street." James Cramp's business was listed at this address in the 1907 Newton city directory; in subsequent directories the business is at 9 Bailey Place. The car appears to be a 1905 Orient touring car made in Waltham, which sold for $2,250. (Note: 791 Washington Street is no longer an address in Newton. 787 Washington Street and 793 Washington Street are separated by Central Avenue.)
