Front of a playing card about the American Revolutionary War. Declaration of Independence - Yorktown
Description:
This is a playing card of a card game about the Revolutionary War. There are two questions with their answers:"What momentous declaration, composed by Thomas Jefferson, was adopted and signed by the Continental Congress July 4, 1776? Declaration of Independence" and "Where did Lord Cornwallis surrender, with 7,000 soldiers, October 19, 1781? Yorktown." A British Red Ensign, a British naval flag also known as the Meteor Flag and Colonial Red Ensign and one of the first flags to be flown in the colonies, appears above the questions and answers. The back of the playing card is decorated with stars emitting rays of light, clouds, and the Old Man in the Moon.
