Mahogany, Empire-style drop-front desk on a single drawer frame. When closed, desk is trapezoidal in shape. Folded down, open desk reveals green velvet surface with three pull out compartments. Three compartments have multiple interior slots and contain brass oval plate, circular pull rings with floral middle. Desk has three leather tabs to lift to expose two large rectangular interior compartments. Desk stands on rectangular frame with single pull out drawer. Drawer has two brass resettle plate, circular rings and keyhole in the middle. Two front support columns with acathus leaf design. Four reeded, simple turned legs with pad feet.
