Segments Two and Three are profiles of Herman Kahn and Steward Brand, two men with different views of the future. Segment Five is about future lifestyles including an animated cartoon, 'Life,' produced by the well-known animator George Griffin; followed by a dramatized vignette about loneliness; and a documentary on the increase in the older population, hosted by Art Carney.
