Handwritten account kept by Jesse Tilson, a soldier from Stoughton (now Canton), of his participation in the Quebec Campaign during the French and Indian War. Includes handwritten copy of two promissory notes by John Spare dated ""February 1 1765"" and ""Stoughton August 1 1765"". There are also a couple of account book entries for sawing of planks and a receipt dated ""Stoughton March ye 7 1766"". Includes explanatory letters and notes, ca. 1908.
