Informal close-up head and shoulder portrait of a smiling Albert P. Madeira, a popular member of the English Department beginning in the 1950s. He was also a member of the Collegian Publishing Board, a faculty adviser to the Index yearbook and a faculty adviser to Roister Doisters. Mr. Madeira was chosen by the Centennial Class as the first recipient of the Metawampe Award in 1963 for his dedication as a teacher. "Al Maderia" handwritten on back.
