Letter from Chude Pamela Parker Allen to her parents
Description:
Pam writes about the deaths of three civil rights workers in Mississippi: Andrew Goodman, Michael Schwerner, and James Chaney. She talks about the stressful conditions she lives and works in, and the prejudices she faces for being female and white. Two movement members were in a car accident, one was killed, the other injured.
