Description:
Letter from Joel M. and Barbara Halpern to his parents describing their time in Laos. In this letter, Joel M. Halpern describes a trip to a conference in Vientiane to meet with other field representatives. He describes several social events, including a luncheon with the Ambassador, and dinner with 'the Minges'. Upon his return to Louang Phrabang, he witnessed a dedication of a dam, lunching with the Minister of Agriculture afterward. The final page has a hand written note from Barbara with some more personal notes and hellos. The letter describes a Polaroid picture of them in their front yard in Louang Phrabang.
