Dill notes that Carl Van Vechten's "Nigger Heaven" is waiting to be examined and reviewed by Du Bois "for our beloved Crisis;" recounts Miss Fauset's opinion of the book and how she begged Dill to hold off on a review for, she said, "Dr. Du Bois is the only one who will give it what it deserves."
