This was "new" Soviet architecture in 1961. Built for members of the elite class, this large apartment complex sits on the banks of the Mt'k'vari River. It contains both classical and oriental motifs, with acropolis-like penthouse and windows. Balconies are very much part of Georgian architectural heritage.
