Signed George Padmore; providing "a brief report" of the Federation's recent activities; highlighting a campaign for the Jamaica strike, "the question of flogging in the Colonies" (addressed at length in the pamphlet enclosed) work towards "a world wide drive for affiliation" with the Federation, and preparation for the United Nations assembly and the All West Indian Trade Union and Labour Conference; and seeking Du Bois's help landing a professorship at Howard University for his friend, "a very gifted young man named Nicholson."
