An accordion (a) made of wood, paper, mother-of-pearl, with case (b) made of wood with padded cloth lining. Accordion bellows appear to be of decorative paper, gold and red on light green background. Keys are mother-of-pearl. Wood has decorative moldings in a bead pattern. Silver colored metal is also decoratively patterned. Case is solid wood, dovetail joints, with a brass handle and two brass hinges and a keyhole. Padded interior is lined with printed cotton fabric with a brown, gray, and tan pattern on ivory background. Item was on display in Jackson Homestead basement until 2025.
