Arm chair American late 19th C Marked: "G.A.R" i.e. Grand Army Republic Carved oak master's chair. Lunette at top of back with carved star. Top of chair 2 crossed cannon barrels and 4 flags. surmounted by a panoply of arms. Seat and back upholstered in green fabric, with metal upholstery studs on upholstery braid on back.
