Small cast-iron horse, badly corroded. Left front leg is raised. Lower portion of left rear leg is missing. Protrusions on both sides of horse, and post with wheel attached near front leg, suggest it was once attached to a cart or buggy. Horse is made from two molded halves; gap is visible at joint. Horse was found by Paul Lupo ca. 1981 when excavating during a renovation of the Nathaniel Allen House in West Newton.
