Letter from Shirley Graham Du Bois to Bernard Jaffe
Description:
Shirley writes to Bernard about their finanical situation in Ghana and why she is "spending money like mad these days." She explains that the helpers she has hired to help with the cooking, cleaning and W.E.B. are "wasteful in the use of everything" and wishes she could take care of everything herself but she is afraid she would end up sick herself. She also writes that the weather is cooler in Ghana and has had a positive effect on W.E.B.'s condition.
