Alberto Regina was born on August 3, 1900 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He graduated from the College of the South American YMCA in 1924. Regina worked as the physical education director in Chile, the physical education director for the Argentina YMCA, and the technical advisor for the Argentine Federation of Sport. He also coached the Argentina water polo team in the 1928 Olympics. In 1930, Regina attended Springfield College for graduate study. He died from surgery complications on January 24, 1948.
