Color illustration on front, part of Curteich-Chicago postcards series "cotton picking scenes," depicts "Bales of cotton ready for shipment": one man pushing a load of cotton on a hand truck, another man standing on the piles of bales and watching. Nash writes, "Saw cotton in all stages of growth while in the South." No address or salutation.
