Letter is written on Easter Sunday and describes an Easter parade and the weather in Germany. Maida also describes going to a Catholic Easter service in a gymnasium that had been devastated by war, witnessing the Russian and Polish people forced to move out of their homes, and living in a dilapidated apartment building. She remarks that the way of life in Germany seems most similar to America out of all of the other countries she visited.
