A hand-written note from Raymond P. Kaighn, class of 1893 and one of the first students to play the game of basketball, to Jennie Cournoyer, secretary in the Alumni Office at Springfield College for over 40 years. It is dated August 5, 1948. In the note, he thanks her for her kind note and passing on the information about the death of his wife.
