This was reproduced from the photograph and text on page 14 from the print manuscript titled "Great Enterprises: The Story of Baseball at Springfield College, 1891-1972."

The 1950-51 Springfield College, coached by Archie Allen, went 16 and 7. They won the New England Collegiate Championship and earned a trip to the NCAA Collegiate World Series where they won against Texas A & M, 5-1, and then lost 7-1 against Oklahoma University and 2-0 against Tennessee.
